That time of the year again. The first of the Chinook salmon arrived in the Eagle River next to Griffin Lake Cabin rentals. We expect they’ll be here for about 5 weeks ans will then be replaced by huge run of Sockeye Salmon.

Germany I can’t remember the last time we laughed so much! We were here last year on our way to Kelowna and was blown away by this place. It was clean and welcoming. We had high hopes coming back this year and believe it or not, we enjoyed ourselves even more this time around. Our family (grand mom, uncle and aunt) are visiting from Sri Lanka – very, very far away and we are showing them around our beautiful country and we knew we couldn’t miss this place. Canada is very different from there. We didn’t need the TV, which is hard for us city folk, but it is true! We all talked for hours and old stories were just flowing. We were sooo comfortable here! Thank you so much for everything – for the amazing accommodation and the unforgettable memories!!!

This is a truly beautiful place, the cabin is lovely and the attention to detail appreciated. The lake is so pretty and we enjoyed going on it in a canoe and pedalo, even though it was raining. Saw some bald eagles and a beaver. Also enjoyed watching the hummingbirds. Thank you.
